Matt Vs. GameStop
Is it just me, or are the Game Stop employees getting more aggressive? three of them jumped me behind a stack of old PS2 games. Beat me up and convince me if i don’t pre-order Black Ops prestige edition i will never truly find happiness. they proceed by stealing my Nike’s light them on fire as they made me watch, clockwork orange style. (no hyperbole)

Age Of Conan- The strategy board game
Conan, most people know him as the barbarian, but Robert E. Howard’s legendary adventurer has gone through many phases. Conan the thief, Conan the usurper, Conan the commander, but this game chronicles his rise to Conan the king. Play starts with each player picking one of the four major powers in Conan’s world of Hyboria. Each player then bids tokens to see who controls the wandering Conan for that turn. This is a powerful asset because our mighty conquer can cause major havoc, leading to what might be a very tense moment when you invaded your friend last turn and now he controls Conan. Player actions are also handled in a interesting way, there are special die that have a side for moving armies or emissaries, getting a second Conan move etc. The player controlling Conan rolls all the die and this is the poll of actions for all the player until Conan completes one of his quests or the die run out. This is a great mechanic because you can cut off your enemies form doing some things each turn. The game ends when the quest deck runs out or if someone crowns Conan their King, a risky move that could win the game or lose it. All in all its a great game. It plays best with 4 but I had a fun game with just 2 people. Its simple enough that play moves smoothly but deep enough to have fun play. The only main down side is that the price is set high, mine was around 80 dollars.
Pros
-Captures the feeling of Conan great
-can be played with less then max players
-simple to understand
Cons
-the Conan component can get confusing
-Price is way high

Holy mother of stick, its Stick RPG 2
Stick rpg 2 might really get released. Yeah you heard right, its for real now. There are beta sign ups now and I have never been more exited for a flash game in my life. I spent hours and hours on stick rpg 1 in my younger years and I watch Stick rpg 2 for a while but never thought any thing would come of it. People were joking it would come out the same year as Duke Nukem Forever.
